Gov. Rick Snyder (R) on Thursday vetoed several the “voter ID laws” that the Republican-led state legislature had approved. Among the bills vetoed were those requiring photo ID for first-time voter registration or to obtain an absentee ballot.
Snyder did sign measures removing the names of dead or departed voters from the registration rolls.
